Job Title:Â Raw Materials Associate
Salary: $18.00 per hour
Job Summary:
The Raw Materials Associate is responsible for receiving raw materials from the warehouse and staging work order for all apparel goods prior to the production run. This role will also share inter-department responsibilities aiding in hardware application, and finished good preparation as needed.
Essential Functions:
• Communicate effectively with the Supervisor of Screen Print to ensure the proper production staging order
• Coordinate with the Supervisor of Screen Print ensuring specification sheets are attached to work orders
• Verify blank apparel received by the warehouse, keeping counts of received goods, and effectively communicating with the warehouse on any/all discrepancies
• Maintain inventory of all raw materials
• Stage production orders and organize onto pallets while communicating with the Supervisor regarding orders that were short units or unable to be staged due to discrepancies
• Must help team meet daily/weekly goals
• Maintain a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive routine
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow safety protocols
Qualifications:
• Some experience in packaging preferred. Candidates are expected to learn all responsibilities in an adequate time frame
• Must have a good understanding of quality print standards and to be able to differentiate the bad from good quality prints
• Must possess basic Excel skills
• Basic iron application skills
• Must be able to work well with others and have excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle a physical workload
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Eager to take on responsibility with a personal sense of accountability
