Job Description
Staff Matters, LLC a subsidiary of NSC Technologies has an immediate opening for a Final Assembly/Finished Goods
Payrate: $18.00 per hour
Job Summary:
The Final Assembly & Finished Goods position is responsible for the preparation for goods into designated packaging for shipping to the warehouse facility. This role will also share inter-department responsibilities aiding in staging and hardware application as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
• Communicate effectively with the Production Coordinator to ensure the proper production staging order
• Count orders and create proper product labeling per box
• Create packing slips per pallet while keeping track of all prepped items for shipping
• Shrink wrap pallets that have been completed and properly labeled. Organize in a designated area
• Share packing slips with the Supervisor of Screen Print to keep consistent inventory/production counts
• Prep garments for shipping to warehouse
• Organize finished boxes onto designated pallets in a short turnaround time
• Must help team meet daily/weekly goals
• Maintain a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive routine
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow safety protocols
Qualifications:
• Some experience in packaging preferred. Candidates are expected to learn all responsibilities in an adequate time frame
• Must have a good understanding of quality print standards and to be able to differentiate the bad from good quality prints
• Must possess basic Excel skills
• Basic iron application skills
• Must be able to work well with others and have excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle a physical workload
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Eager to take on responsibility with a personal sense of accountability
