Staff Matters, LLC a subsidiary of NSC Technologies has an immediate opening for a an Auto Press Operator
Job Title: Auto Press Operator – Contract
Salary: $18-19.75 per hour
Position Summary:
The Auto Press Operator is responsible for the setup and production of screen-printed goods.
Essential Functions:
• Setup screens for new prints
• Confirm the accuracy of the print production provided coincides with the current print setup
• Provide the supervisor with samples for approval before beginning production and make any changes to the setup if the sample is not approved
• Maintain communication with the Auto Assistant for any changes in size/boxes
• Per feedback from the Auto Assistant, make any necessary adjustments to ensure quality of print is to standards
• Accurately record activities in weekly logs
• Monitor print output to meet required goal
• Must help team meet daily/weekly goals
• Maintain a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive routine
• Consistently deliver pieces with a short turnaround time
• Rotate through tasks for specific production processes
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and follow safety protocols
Qualifications:
• Must have 2+ yrs experience in screen printing (6-12 color auto press)
• Must have ability to print both quantity and quality
• Must be able to work well with others and have excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle a physical workload
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Eager to take on responsibility with a personal sense of accountability
